Yellow lights and a teardrop ceiling piece welcomed us in the chic lobby of Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. After hitting a bit of traffic from NuArt Sculpture Park, the thought of rest and dinner excited us. Sipping the welcome drink, I explored the lobby and got even more excited with what I saw out the window – a gorgeous looking pool and “Hershey Kisses” chairs!
With a strategic location in the northern part of Bandung, the five-star Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers features 156 rooms and suites and other facilities like meeting rooms, fitness center, spa, and restaurants. At the center of the hotel grounds is its lagoon shaped pool set in what looks like a tropical paradise. The hotel is also very family friendly offering a plethora of family activities and facilities such as a kids pool, outdoor playground, and horseback riding.

Sheraton Bandung Deluxe Room
Eager to find my room, I got lost in the gardens, only to find out that my room was right behind the pool. Lucky me! I got a Deluxe Room with a view of a manicured lawn. Upon first look, one can immediately see that the room is spacious and has that modern chic look.
The 32 square meter room comes with a king bed, LCD TV, telephone, seating area, desk, laptop safe box, and even ironing facilities! The bathroom has a spacious shower, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, and bathrobes.
The floral prints on the carpet and above the bed’s headboard made the room feminine, which I really liked. The welcome pastry was also a very cute surprise. Too bad it was too beautiful to eat so I didn’t dare touch it.
Although there was a desk, the love seat proved to be very comfy for catching up on my blog updates. Unfortunately, I was bitten by mosquitoes while sitting.
Now, the Signature Sheraton Bed is a totally different experience – it takes comfort to the highest level. I don’t know what they put in this bed, but out of all the beds I’ve slept on in hotels, this one has to be the coziest. It’s actually a bed monster, succeeding in making you not want to get out of it. The pillows are no better too. They’re so fluffy, you totally want to stay in and just marry the whole damn bed. I will totally book myself again in Sheraton just for the bed! 😀

Sheraton Bandung: Feast Restaurant
Offering international and local cuisines, the Feast restaurant is aptly named for you’ll surely enjoy the wide selection in the buffet area. It was fun to eat at the open air seating facing the pool while munching on freshly grilled seafood, maki, Indonesian desserts, matcha ice cream, kerupuk, and Kambing from the Friday night buffet.
The breakfast had a good selection too but sadly no bacon because it’s haram. I feasted instead on fruits, slices of bread, and their tasty yogurts. And kerupuk again, of course!
Too bad I didn’t get a chance to try the pool because of our schedule. So I just contented myself with watching the kids play with their floaties, floating and frolicking under the morning sun in the turquoise colored pool.
My awesome Sheraton experience wouldn’t be complete without the very helpful staff who was always there to help me with my luggage and finding my way around. I’d also always remember the smile on their faces and their warm greetings whenever I pass by. All in all, I enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. And the Sheraton bed was definitely the highlight of my stay! 🙂

October 31, 2016 at 4:48 pmThe Sheraton-Bandunng hotel sure looks like a classic and elegant hotel. The ambience of the place has the hallmark of the Sheraton Brand and hence seems to live up to its brand promise.

October 28, 2016 at 3:29 amWow, everything looks luxurious, from that chandelier to the hershey kisses chairs (been wanting to sit in one of those hehe…). I don’t think a day would be enough for me if ever I stay there. I should be there at least 3 days and when I say stay, I mean not really go anywhere and just enjoy the hotel, the room, the pool, and of course the buffet.
